US oil inventories down by 3.6 million barrels – report
Crude inventories in the United States decreased by 3.608 million barrels in the week ending April 9, private from the American Petroleum Institute (API) reportedly revealed on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the country’s gasoline stockpiles rose by 5.565 million barrels during the same week, while its distillate reserves went up by 3.006 million barrels.
The report comes after the latest data from Baker Hughes showed the number of oil rigs in the US remained unchanged that week at 337.
