US opens mostly higher as markets start rebound
Major stock markets in the United States opened higher on Monday, as they slowly rebound from last week’s losses. Investors will also be looking towards the speeches from Federal Reserve officials on the state of the economy later after markets open, while US President Joe Biden is set to meet with market regulators later in the day as well.
The Dow Jones opened 0.58% higher, as the Dow Inc. rose 2.34%. The Nasdaq 100 stood flat at the opening bell, while the S&P 500 increased 0.41%, with APA Corp gaining 3.39%.
The euro increased 0.30% against the dollar trading for $1.18993 at 9:32 am ET.
