US shares flat in premarket trading ahead of data
Shares on Wall Street were muted during premarket trading on Wednesday after notching their best quarter in decades at the end of the previous session.
Aside from the ADP employment report due for a release later in the day, traders continued to monitor new coronavirus spikes in the United States, namely in Texas, Arizona, and Florida. Other economic reports scheduled for a release today included the manufacturing PMI and construction spending.
The Dow Jones, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 were all flat at 4:15 am CET. The euro was up just 0.04% against the dollar at 4:20 am CET, buying 1.12387.
