US shares lower in premarket
Shares on Wall Street were moving lower in premarket trade on Wednesday with the Dow Jones falling around 16 points. A bipartisan group of American lawmakers introduced a bill yesterday which would ensure $3 billion in funding for buying oil for the United States Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump revealed his plan is to open the country up “sooner rather than later,” adding the nation needs to resume work as the US wasn’t built to remain shut down for long.
The Dow Jones slipped 0.65%, the S&P 500 lost 0.61%, while the Nasdaq 100 dipped 0.48% at 4:30 am ET.
