US up in premarket ahead of data
Equities in the United States traded higher in the premarket on Friday ahead of the newest report on the country’s retail sales, industrial production, business inventories, and consumer sentiment. Earlier, President Joe Biden announced the federal authorities will distribute one billion rapid tests for COVID-19 for free.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average traded 0.33% or 122 points at 4:33 am ET. At the same time, the Nasdaq 100 rose by 0.26%. The S&P 500 advanced by 0.25%.
The euro went up by 0.10% against the dollar at 4:33 am CET to sell for $1.14638.
