US: WHO can’t let China manipulate Wuhan data
The World Health Organization (WHO) should not allow the Chinese government to hide or alter any data about the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in Wuhan, United States National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said on Saturday.
Sullivan added the US had “deep concerns” over the quality of data collected by the WHO and stressed, “China must make available its data from the earliest days of the outbreak.”
“To better understand this pandemic and prepare for the next one, China must make available its data from the earliest days of the outbreak. Going forward, all countries, including China, should participate in a transparent and robust process for preventing and responding to health emergencies – so that the world learns as much as possible as soon as possible,” he stated.
