Volkswagen deliveries rise 6.5% in June

Volkswagen Group said on Friday that it delivered a total of 856,300 vehicles to its customers in June, representing a 6.5% increase compared to the same month the year prior.

In the three months to June 2021, deliveries soared 34.9% year on year. Deliveries in the first half of 2021 jumped 27.9% from the same timespan in 2020.

The Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand amounted to over half of deliveries in all three accounting periods, followed by Audi.
