Wall Street muted premarket ahead of jobs report
Major indexes in the United States traded flat on Friday after the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 hit record highs a day earlier. Investors continued to digest the Federal Reserve’s decision to start tapering its asset purchases this month and awaited the October jobs report due for release before the bell.
The Dow Jones was flat at 4:21 am ET, the Nasdaq 100 added 0.06% and the S&P 500 rose 0.07% at the same time.
The euro traded flat against the dollar, going for 1.15558 at 4:22 am ET.
