WH says will consults all Dems on infrastructure
The Biden administration will reach out to all members of the Democratic Party in order to pass “both pieces of legislation” related to infrastructure spending, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki (pictured) said on Monday.
During a daily press briefing, Psaki underlined that the administration is “in touch with all members of the Democratic Party,” and “a range of members” of the Republican Party, stressing that both pieces of legislation should “receive a broad range of support” from the Democrats.
United States Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell previously called on the president to urge the Democratic leaders to follow his example and “delink” the bipartisan infrastructure plan and the Democrat-only “human infrastructure” plan.
