WH: US wasn’t at Troika Plus due to logistical issues
The United States wasn’t a part of the Troika Plus meeting on Afghanistan due to “logistical reasons,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki (pictured) noted on Friday.
Answering questions during a daily press conference, she reiterated a notion made previously by spokesman for the United States Department of State Ned Price, explaining that Troika “has been an effective and constructive forum” so far.
“We will [be a part of the talks] in the future,” Psaki underlined.
