Yellen: US to reach full employment in 2022
United States Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said on Friday that the department expects higher inflation over the next several months due to technical reasons.
Yellen asserted she doubts the US will see an inflationary cycle, noting that base effects will impact inflation in the short term but will have only transitory effects.
The secretary also commented on the economic recovery, saying that it remains on track as the American economy is expected to reach full employment next year.
