Zelensky: Russia advancing toward 3rd nuclear plant
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday that the Russian military is advancing towards a third nuclear power plant in the country after taking control of Zaporizhzhia and Chernobyl.
Zelensky told US senators in a call that Russian forces are trying to keep the city of Mykolaiv, located in the vicinity of the Yuzhnoukrainsk nuclear power plant, encircled.
On Friday, G7 nations specifically urged Moscow to stop targeting areas near nuclear power plants.
